A friend of mine had this too. Daily user for many many years. Thankfully a doctor knew about it and confirmed it by placing them under a hot shower... For some reason it stops the symptoms and is used to confirm the disease.

If you smoke and are sceptical, hopefully you never get it - but if you do, just remember this thread

Yup, that is the test. Hot shower and if your symptoms get better, you definitely have it.
