I guarantee I've experienced the same thing. There's been several times in my life where things just happened in such a perfect manner that it couldn't have been anything other than God's divine intervention. I've been doing the "thankful in advance" thing for years now, cause as you said, if we're just patient and let God do his thing, everything works out and everything we ask of him will be given to us when the Lord deems the time to be right.
