You guys are the smartest people I know. Due to "recent circumstances", I feel like i've genuinely found myself truly embracing Christianity over the past couple years. But I also fully believe there is life beyond us and that they've likely been here. Please advise.

Yes. Just view the Bible then as the story of God working with humanity on earth.
