You guys are the smartest people I know. Due to "recent circumstances", I feel like i've genuinely found myself truly embracing Christianity over the past couple years. But I also fully believe there is life beyond us and that they've likely been here. Please advise.

You really believe we're the only biological life out there because an ancient book told you so? Maybe the fallen angels you're referring to were actually aliens and your book turned them into something more "religious."
That "book" you refer to is the only truth in this corrupt world and has predicted everything that is happening today.
I'm sorry you can't see that.
A group of men at the Council of Nicaea voted on what books would make up that book you treat as the pinnacle of truth. Men, very corruptible, self-motivated men. You realize there's other books such as the Book of Enoch, the book of Thomas etc...? Do you also know Japanese people have their own history of Jesus and their own manuscripts that support their beliefs?
Yes I'm well aware of men's corruption but the One who created the universe and everything in it, is perfectly capable of protecting His word from man's corruption.
This time last year I was an atheist. God chose to open my eyes to the truth and when I repented and confessed my sin, He then sent me the Holy Spirit to guide my path and give me discernment.
Since you're here, you surely know that the most powerful people on this planet all worship Lucifer who is God's enemy. They know that God exists but they refuse to repent and coose to rebel by joining with lucifer in his rebellion.
... and yet you still choose to not believe, because you love living in Sin.
Okay, well it works for you. It doesn't work for me.
I don't choose to believe anything and neither do you. My beliefs are a product of experience and circumstance, not will; yours are too. Catch up, you don't even know how the fundamentals work... And you're preaching to me.
Also, I'm not an atheist. I believe all religions are various flavors of our inherent spirituality and neither one holds the monopoly on truth...I hardly believe this is it. Why? Because life experience and circumstance has convinced me otherwise.. So, to put it in a context that will resonate with you, I believe there's more to existence than this. So don't assume that just because someone doesn't buy your version of things they don't believe anything at all. Good luck on your journey, we all have our paths and I'm sorry you think mine needs to be yours and I'm sorry you think that because I don't see things that way you do that I just want to live on hookers and blow (sin). That's pretty ridiculous.
