I think another big name site with the goal of spreading truth is a great idea and I'm excited for it.
With censorship not being on the table for the left on this site, it's pretty easy to guess what will happen- Paid posters and useful idiots will flood the board with posts to make our movement look bad, i.e. extreme racism non stop, calls for violence, etc. How do you think this will be countered? I'm thinking that it's possible the money for troll farms has started to dry up, so maybe it won't be as bad as I think.
My 2 cents... We outnumber them by such a huge percent they will drown in their own pool of lies and propaganda
We will have facts and logic on our side. Why do you think Twitter has to ban everyone whos logical and factual? Because they know that the truth wins when its not censored. If Twitter didnt censor all the truth it would be on the top, and so on truth social the truth will be at the top, there will be no need to censor lies.
This is how society used to work, we didnt need regulations or licenses because if someone was terrible everyone knew and didnt give them any buisness, and socially shamed them. That system was replaced by the Government deciding, just like Twitter executives decide what goes on Twitter.
That's a really good point. I do still think there will be bot armies in the beginning as an attempt to leave a bad taste for people newly exposed to the movement. They want to keep people from going back to Truth social so they will likely try to initially flood it with garbage, but I suppose that's probably the extent of limited damage they can do.
You think Truth social isnt gonna have some system to stop bots? Twitter and Reddit pay for bots to be on their site and spread lies and misinformation, because there isnt enough people doing it. Its really not hard to get rid of them if you want a website thats bot free.
Hopefully they're learning from Gab and WINs on how to deal with them.
I mean, if it is a legit person "debating" a topic as what they think is "wrong" that is fine but, bots mass spamming fake news, is not. The masses of people will have to weed and put foot down when and where needed in some cases.
It will be up to everyone, as it should be. We're being trained to take ownership, and it's working.
Sheer numbers. Algorithms to identify fakes, etc.
we all do pretty good here....we have our share but here we are....WWG1WGA
I agree, but most people have never heard of the dot win communities. Truth social is gonna be a household name.
its all about the numbers they will have many more people on as well as many trolls, bots, glowies ect....they will survive.....
MEME them alllllll... lol
Well then we have our work cut out for us. Get your stickers and cards out IRL, sponsor banners and billboards, get as many normies onto the WINs as possible and teach!
If I strike up a conversation with a smiling maskless face, you better believe I'm getting them to punch in Patriots win onto their phones. If any Q phrases come out, they're being pointed here too.
The trenches are out there frens! Prepare the masses!
I remember reading somewhere that trolls are to be expected and we will have to weed them out and counter with truth. I wish I could remember where I read that.
You are right. They were/are prevalent on Fakebook.
It's going to be like Gettr or worse. Gab won the great social migration
Easy. Put those captchas in place where you have to rotate the image right side up in order to proceed. I still haven't got passed one of those yet! lol Bots wont stand a chance...
They will have to block and delete accounts, "censorship". I actually hope they will be treated as we have been treated on the MSM platforms.....
You're probably right. There will likely need to be some form of moderation.
I imagine "Illegal activity" will and should be blocked (child porn, threats of violence against someone, groups that promote threats of violence against someone blahblhalbah) protesting something/someone is NOT threats of violence unless you are calling to go "Bash the fash" or something, that is implying to go physically assault someone on the street.. no no. heh heh heh. I mean if an actual person is "debating" for or against something/someone else.. let them. If a bot spamming fake news.. dont let them. Eh, "The people" are pretty good at spotting when someone is "pushing people to go in..." and replying with FED FED FED..
I thought once a post is posted, only the poster can remove it us that not the case?
Admins or moderators can also remove it, depending on the platform
