Something strange is going down on the border between Ukraine and Romania. Note that this is on the Western border of Ukraine - a world away from the troubles in the Donbass region, or the Soviet Hordes for that matter. Romania is friendly NATO country.
No reports of firefights, but over the last week there have been several incidents of Ukrainian border guards in that region either being shot center mass in the middle of the night ... or of dead bodies of Ukrainian guards mysteriously found in the same region.
Its a heavily wooded mountainous region - not ideal for smuggling drugs, or moving heavy armoured equipment ... but a perfect place to insert special forces types over the border, if you are into that sort of thing.
Close to this, on the Romanian side of the border, is a rather weird airfield in the middle of flat rural terrain, that hosts the Bukovina Flying Club, and some strange "Economic Centrum" building that looks completely out of place in a flat expanse with only trees and goats.
Meanwhile, on the Ukrainian side of the border, the closest big town is Chernivtzy, where there have been "false reports" of explosives being setup in the local marketplace.
Could be nothing - could be just business as usual with organised crime in the area, or maybe not. Keep an eye on the Western side of Ukraine and see what comes up.

Something to keep an eye on anyway
I wouldn't think a false flag attack would begin in Western Ukraine in an area that nobody really pays attention to.
I would think a false flag attack is likely to damage the Dnieper Hydroelectric Station, or one of Ukraine's nuclear power plants. If the goal is to get people's attention, that would do it.
I agree - doesnt make much sense at first glance.
Apparently, Brandon just announced that he wants to send "up to 5000" more troops into places like Romania to help "defend the border of Ukraine".
Wrong border you would think ?
Would be terrible convenient if after they got there, some incident just over the Ukraine side of the border with Romania meant they had to cross over to put it out.
