If someone builds a jail around you very very slowly, and makes lots of soothing noises while doing it.. telling you not to worry, that everything is for safety, that only terrorists would dare complain.. you can still kick them in the face. It doesn't matter how slow the building is going, or whether the walls, commissary etc are physical or virtual.

My view is that 'social credit' is a crime punishable to the fullest extent, just like any other kidnapping, hostage-taking.
