I'm no expert on the subject, but there's an "otherworldly"link in Racine{and also maybe Rome since you brought it up}

I believe there a several but I forget all the places. Probably Antarctica is one.

I'm not sure if it's a gateway for entities or a gateway for hidden knowledge. Or just evil incarnate.
