Cooper and (((Cohen))) of Memphis are both flaming lefties. The Nashville, TN area (Davidson County) is not as "red" as you may think. My brother lives in that County and reports to me regularly on the infestation of millennials, zoomers, lefties and other undesirables who have departed the Left Coast for Greener Pastures onto which they are spreading their shit. Nashville has had a Leftist mayor for several years and is famous for raising the property taxes by 40%. He will be toast in the next election but he continues to surround himself with incompetent leftists, BLM'ers and the usual scoundrels lining their pockets while screaming "white is bad!", etc.
I'm confused about whose claiming Nashville is red? Officially anyway. It's pretty well known to be one of two "blue" areas in Tennessee, with the other being Memphis. That being said, I'm fairly certain that Nashville and Memphis, like most "blue" areas, have been beholden to some massive election fraud for the last several decades. I'm not saying there are no liberals at all, but I truly believe most of these areas are deep red.
What most people don't consider is the sheer size and proportion of the numbers involved. Since we're talking about Nashville and Davidson county, lets use them as an example. Davidson county has a population of 715,000 people. So let's just assume around 10-20% of that are actually liberal. That's 71,500-143,000 people.
That doesn't seem like a lot when we talk about a state with a population of a little over 5 Million, but think about it from an individual's perspective, like your brother. Most of these people are concentrated in a few specific areas of Nashville, so when you frequent those areas you're going to run into a disproportionate number of lefties on a daily basis. This same portion of the population tend to be louder, more outspoken, in your face, etc. So you'll notice them more.
All of these factors combined give off the impression that there's more of them than there actually are. Meanwhile, the other 80-90% of the population are either extremely conservative or conservative leaning, but mainly keep to themselves, live their own lives, work a normal 9-5, etc. So you never hear from them until something big happens. Like what happened in Davidson county last year when all the parents started rioting against the school boards and turned out en masse to protest the mask mandates and CRT cuckery.
Beyond all of that, Nashville in particular has been an example of the Galt's Gulch phenomenon. It's named after a location in Atlas Shrugged. Basically, people who are like minded, move to areas where they feel they'll be welcomed and be among like minded individuals. Nashville has seen a massive influx in conservative icons in the past decade, which in turn leads to normie conservatives to move to the same or similar areas. This has lead to Nashville's demographics changing in favor of conservatives. Hence my earlier comment about all of the lefties being concentrated in a few specific areas of Nashville.
Keep in mind, this doesn't just apply to Nashville. In fact Nashville and Davidson county are actually rather small examples. The larger the city/county, the easier it is to scale the cheating and create an illusion of there being more liberals than there actually are. The Atlanta metro in Georgia is an example of this. Half the population of Georgia, 5 Million people, live in the Atlanta Metro. Which makes it much easier to scale this. Same thing in DFW in Texas. You have 8 Million people to act as a smoke screen. Harris county and Houston have 4 Million people alone.
So, I don't think a lot of these areas are actually as "liberal" as they'd have us believe. It's all basically a massive optical illusion. And they can't keep it up much longer.
