I was red pilled after the "racist incident" dragging death in Jasper, Texas in 1998.

The media was full of lies to blow up the incident into something it wasn't.

They never once mentioned (nobody did) that both the victim and the two men who dragged him to death served prison time together only a few months earlier. They were all housed together in the same barracks style prison facility, ate breakfast, lunch and dinner together every day, had work detail together, etc... .

The men had arguments and clashes in prison between themselves. Some of it was about race, but also because everyone involved was hot headed. When they were released, there were violence threats between each of them.

The media treated it as a random incident, where two white men happened to find a random black man, who they didn't know, and decided to drag him behind their truck. They ignored the fact that this was a prison fight that continued on the outside. The men went looking for Byrd. They knew very well who he was, where he lived and this was targeted. The media knew the facts. They just didn't report any facts.

Since that time, I never believed a media story about virtually anything.
