Which version of the Bible might I find this in? None of the English translations available online translate this word in this way. If it's some obscure version of the Bible that 99% of people won't know about, then the same reaction will be generated when sharing it with those people.
The instant that people try to "verify" this they will see, not "pharmakeia".
At the end of the day, it's 100% true no matter which word you use, but the point is, people are so resistant to literally everything, this would simply cause more problems than it would solve, especially with people already familiar with biblical text.
"accept it" and "deal with it"... why are you acting like a cunt?
I asked you to show me, that's all I wanted. I can "deal with it" or "not"... if I choose.
What I will do is verify this as far as I can, because frankly, I don't trust anything - especially when I find it on a single website only. I have grown up around the Bible for 40+ years and I've never once seen it translated this way, so if you don't fucking mind... I will look further into before I do anything at all!
Feel free to do whatever you want with that, oh and thanks for the link - it's a start for me to check... so thanks for that part. Knock of the rest of the BS though.
Why do you post lies?
Not a single bible translation says anything about pharmaceuticals... it's "magic" or "sorcery" or "witchcraft".
Stop posting bullshit that makes you and us look desperate and stupid. Please
The Greek word used in the New Testament is "Pharmakeia," and it is indeed the word used in modern Greek to refer to pharmacies.
The word means: Sorcery, magic spell, witchcraft, drugs, potions, poison.
