"accept it" and "deal with it"... why are you acting like a cunt?
I asked you to show me, that's all I wanted. I can "deal with it" or "not"... if I choose.
What I will do is verify this as far as I can, because frankly, I don't trust anything - especially when I find it on a single website only. I have grown up around the Bible for 40+ years and I've never once seen it translated this way, so if you don't fucking mind... I will look further into before I do anything at all!
Feel free to do whatever you want with that, oh and thanks for the link - it's a start for me to check... so thanks for that part. Knock of the rest of the BS though.
While you're at it you should look into the word PORNEIA which is also found in Revelation.
Fallen, fallen, is Babylon the Great, for she made all the nations of the world drink the wine of the wrath of her PORNEIA.
That word is sometimes translated as "sexual immorality" or as "adultery." Whatever it is, Babylon sins by causing the rest of the world to drink her PORNEIA.
In the Old Testament there is a reference to this as well...
Babylon has been a golden cup in the Lord's hand, that made the whole world drunk. All the nations have drank of her wine, and therefore they have all gone mad.
One more thing. You really can't expect the King James translators, hundreds of years ago, to have thought to render the passage as, "her drugs and her porn." That would require a prescience that would be beyond anyone of that time. Instead, "her sorceries and adulteries" was the best fit they could think of.
It's only now, near the time of the end, when the vision comes more into focus. Even so, "sorceries and adulteries" is a good translation based on the greek words that were used. But you must see that now, hundreds of years later, "drugs and porn" really brings it home.
