People (on our side anyway) might be shocked to learn he was trash due to a rumor that Hefner was helping to feed information about sickening Hollywood freaks that frequented his mansion to Julian Assange via Pamela Anderson. I don't buy that personally, but who in the hell really knows.

I think Hugh was only out for Hugh personally. Nothing suggests that he was a saint. Maybe he was normal in his early days, but he turned into pure fucking garbage right around the time of the sexual revolution in the 1960s. If he was feeding info to Assange, that's great and all, but he did a number on many young women then turned around and blamed "conservatives" for all of his problems (Dorothy Stratton comes to mind).
