Thank you IAmOne. The Shroud is not a required belief. I choose to believe it is the cloth that covered Jesus. I believe research was deliberately done wrong. I don't need a physical object to prove Jesus. Faith does that. I think it's valuable to reflect on the image shown to understand the physical horror of crucifixion. It reminds me of that sacrifice for the sins of humanity
Thanks. It's been a favorite topic of mine for years. I look at it from the point of view that a forger wouldn't have necessarily understood how to do the details. Real or not it really shows what absolute agony Jesus went thru...great point to study history of the time..... all to take away our sins. GOD LOVED so much He sent His Son to take the punishment for our sins to repair our (humanities) relationship with Him.
Thank you. When I see that face it makes me think of Jesus. It's really about what God did for all of humanity. I reflect on history of what was happening in the world at that time.
Yashua! Do I have my doubts about to shroud

I'm a Christian, and I'm not putting this here to be a jerk. But the shroud hasn't passed critical examination: https://infidels.org/kiosk/article/the-shroud-of-turin-the-great-gothic-art-fraud-because-if-its-real-the-brain-of-jesus-was-the-size-of-a-protohumans/
Also….the shroud is one continuous piece of cloth… The burial was with two pieces of cloth, one for the body and one for the face.

Thank you for your two cents. And for the comment I appreciate it
His looks were unremarkable. He was average.
Look up Jesus’ comment on proper length hair on a man…that disqualifies it on its own. Or….scripture and therefore God is wrong.
Me too. There are many issues with it. The CC has so many relic pieces of the cross they could build an ark.
