Welp...it's done. After 20 years at my fortune 500 financial services firm, yesterday was my last day. I submitted my resignation several months back as I refused to give into their vax mandates. There were many unethical situations that I've seen over the years but the "icing on the cake" was them pushing the vax (really hard) and threatening employee's livelihoods if they didn't get the shots. That was the last straw for me. I decided to take control of my future and not bow down to tyrannical edicts. After a 60 day notice period (legal obligation for employees at my title level) it's finally over.
Those 60 days were rough. There were many people trying to pull me back into the matrix ("misery loves company" syndrome, if you will) and leaving some really good colleagues and friends behind was especially hard, harder than I originally thought it would be. But I stood my ground and made it through to my last day. I think I woke up a few colleagues along the way and on my way out I did receive several emails from co-workers admiring my stance. So "mission accomplished" from a red pill perspective.
My job was a lucrative position and I'm leaving at a time when I have a son in college (I've posted on this board about his heroics with pushing back on vax mandates at his school and on his football team) and a daughter who's starting college next year. I announced my resignation BEFORE my year end bonus was allocated therefore I was entitled to $0 bonus this year (if I literally stuck around 2 more weeks I would have received my full year end bonus). I left with no job lined up which leaves me with an uncertain professional future. I gave up all healthcare benefits for my family and my company had a very good plan. Me leaving my comfortable and lucrative job is way out of my comfort zone, but I did it anyway. So I think it's safe to say that I'm ALL IN on the fight against tyranny.
It was not ideal timing for me to resign, but I couldn't spend any more time with a firm that is directly going against the US Constitution and stepping on personal freedoms. If you want the vax then get it, if you don't want it, then don't get it. NOBODY should be telling anyone what they should and should not do with their healthcare choices, especially upper management at a fucking financial institution!!!
Today is my first day on the other side. It feels good...a little scary, but good. Immediate plan is taking my 401k out of Cabal-delity and invest it the way I see fit. Then beyond that....who knows! Thinking of running for office on a patriot platform but have no political experience at all (which may not be a bad thing) - or helping out a Patriot campaign (any takers??). I'd like to pivot towards a "service to others" type of role as financial services is primarily "service to self".
Wish me luck fellow Patriots! Time for a cool change...
Buy a couple shares of GME. That thing could blow up big enough to replace your salary due to Wall Street corruption.
(And it might do nothing, this is not financial advise)
Yes. A little GME and some DWAC are part of the plan!
