Lots of folks around here don't understand that reality. Most illegals do not walk across the ankle deep parts of the rio grande. They fly in on various types of visas then illegally stay passed their legal date. I have a big brown family with plenty of illegals. Literally one of them has done "the walk" and I've only known one other illegal that stayed with my grandmother when I was a kid that did the same. I will say the ones who are doing the walk are the ones to worry about. If you have a record your ass isn't getting a visa of any type so coyotes are their only option. The two I knew in my lifetime weren't cut from that cloth but logically they would be the ones to worry about.
