I live in Edmond, OK and at 11:11 an absolutely massive earthquake compared to what normally happens here hit and shook the house for a minute or so.
On Reddit, it seems like OKC, Tulsa, Shawnee, and Norman folks felt the same powerful quake at the same time and are convinced that it originated near them.
USGS silent.
Anyone know what it could be? DUMBs?
Friend reports this:
4.5 eathquake at Medford, OK. Up by Blackwell.

Shook here and loud noise.
To think that people in Norman felt that from the Kansas border, what the heck is going on under those farms?
Isn't the horizontal drilling ceased for now? I thought that was the argument to stop drilling because earthquakes.
Yep, in fact it seemed like the daily earthquakes stopped being felt as soon as Trump took office
Dead on. Yep he calmed the earthquakes.
Can confirm, am in Kansas and an hour or two ago there was a tad bit of a rumble. But we do get those occasionally although we haven't had one for awhile.
