I've always felt like commercial grain agriculture wasn't sustainable anyway. There is a hell of a lot of pollution involved in producing those crops. Cows will eat grass if we let the grass grow. Of course they don't grow as fast on grass, which is why everyone feeds them grain instead. Maybe we would have to pay more for our beef as a result but we'd be getting a healthier product and the animals would be living in better conditions.
