don't be dense. there is a massive difference between something like a forum and shit like facebook/twitter/instagram/etc
a forums primary purpose is create discussion.
"social medias" primary purpose is to give people a soapbox.
while its true this place has some social media elements (upvoting), its does not serve the same primary function.
