Typically the fed prison system has the option to allow reporting of incidents or not, and they are allowed to refrain from doing pressers or a press release about a deadly incident exactly because it could be triggering to hostile factions or organized crime (such as if OC was hired to perform a hit inside). So you would expect that if they were motivated by the very real threat of say cartel warfare inside, they would keep a tight lid on the info until the threat was reasonably contained. Yeah I do think there is more to this Kerkshot. If there was a threat of hostile faction retaliation, then they don't talk about the hostile faction retaliation - it's like the first rule of Fight Club.
Another reason there are lockdowns in prisons is when we (I worked in the Philly Prison System) transfer special inmates. The facility stays locked down (meaning inmates keep to their cells for the day and meals are served in their individual cells) until the event is over. It prevents transfer of contraband, contact between hostile factions, and can be to maintain confidentiality of the location of a high-profile potentially targeted inmate, such as one in witness protection.
This happens ALL THE TIME! These gangs all follow orders from prison to prison. The corrupt media decides when to report on it. Mainly to add to an environment of fear and confusion.
That was a prison gang fight that happened at the Stiles "Shake & Bake" unit in Nederland, Texas (just South of Beaumont).
That's why the nation wide lockdown. They don't need MS-13 and other gangs retaliating in prisons in other states.
Do you think they were MS-13?

I don't think two dead thugs would warrant a lockdown on even a single normal state facility. Do you think there's more to this ?
For all of them to go on lockdown preemptively might be illegal. They need a legal reason. FYI a transfer of prisoners is a legal reason.
Whatever MSM says is questionable. I don't watch it but appreciate frens filling me in on what they are lying about today.
It's not about the report itself, but if there could be something more to this situation than the possibility of retaliation in other facilities.
Could be comms

Right? Why this time is there a press release? It's unusual for sure. It doesn't add up, and I worked in prisons in health care.
I think that's pretty standard procedure in federal prisons. I remember hearing that a few years ago.
