I've picked out some statements above that seem to be sending a message. I'm guessing that all of this will make more sense once we can determine the event being discussed.

Here are a few random thoughts:

Near-Earth Object (NEO) -> Neo from the Matrix, red pill/blue pill choice. Neo = new.

It was projected to hit the earth on July 4th, 2023 -> Independence Day

The asteroid/operation was the riskiest seen in 10 years.

The Moon/secrets being kept prevented any observations or ability to figure out what was going on.

Killing asteroids with the experts = killing an OP with the experts.

Asteroid/OP with the highest ranking/most important OP in more than a decade reaching -.66 = 666. Decade = 2012 - 2022.

Note the connection: Mayan calendar ends/end of the world and Star Wars franchise is acquired by Disney.

21st December » The world was 2012 phenomenon or predicted to end on December 21, 2012 according to some calendars.

21st December » The Walt Disney Company completed its acquisition of Lucasfilm and of the Star Wars franchise.
