Crypto as a technology (or the various blockchain techs) is pretty solid, with lots of potential. Crypto as a faith backed currency on the other hand is just as smart as mining for unicorn farts in the Sahara desert.

Although if you actually found a unicorn fart in the Sahara desert, that would have real value, so maybe that's actually smarter.
