Sorry to say the eggs are probably already in there. It's nature. Keep it as dry as possible and they won't hatch. You can stick it in the oven at 250F for an hour or so to drive out some moisture if needed. Leave it in the bag.
thanks I'll try that, don't want to go to store. saw more masks the last time, want to avoid it.
If you are stocking up on flour it's easy enough to store in a 5 gallon bucket with an air tight lid. One bucket holds a bit more than 25 pounds. You can also bake it off into hardtack and as long as it is stored properly that stuff will last years and years.
Hard tack last for a very long time highly recommend
