As an Italian chef who makes his own pasta. Takes a lot of flour and a hell of a lot of eggs and salt. You're better getting a crap ton of salt butter and a slingshot and start killing birds
italian food is so awesome, that's a great skill to have. And speaking of flour...how far past expiration date-is a year too long if it hasn't been opened? don't want to take the time to make something if it won't work, will use it for crafts with grandson.
Flour is fine as long as it doesn't get weevils. If you're hungry that won't be a problem either.
thanks! I'll try it, it's packaged, in a dark cupboard so should be free from any bugs.
Sorry to say the eggs are probably already in there. It's nature. Keep it as dry as possible and they won't hatch. You can stick it in the oven at 250F for an hour or so to drive out some moisture if needed. Leave it in the bag.
