I still absolutely refuse to believe this Barenstain Bear garbage. I know what I saw and it didn’t say “Stain” at the end

Collective bad memories. For instance, everyone remembers Darth Vader saying, "Luke, I am your father" when he really said, "No, I am your father", but we all collectively remember it incorrectly because we've always told the story to each other as, "Luke, I am your father". The mandela effect isn't real. Having said that, the one that boggled my mind was the scene from Moonraker where Jaws smiles at the blonde girl and she smiles back. I distinctly remember her having braces, but apparently she didn't.
She totally had braces!!! What the hell. I need to check this out.
This video outlines it fairly well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKptMhaTiYI
Thanks! Now I’m really getting weirded out. I still haven’t gotten closure on the whole “Berenstein Bears” thing 😆
I saw Moonraker in the theatre as a kid; my parents took me. I distinctly remember the audience—my parents included—laughing when Dolly smiled and showed her braces. It was the quick sharp laughter of seeing the unexpected (i.e., braces), not laughter at a goofy but otherwise normal smile.
It can't just be collective bad memories, just look at ALL the "Lion shall dwell with the Lamb" in songs, talks or paraphernalia you can buy, posters, t-shirts, knick-nacks etc... You will be hard pressed to find anyone who knows this biblical saying... as it is NOW "The Wolf shall dwell with the Lamb". And I bet you won't find much paraphernalia with the current "Wolf" mentioned in it either.
It's always been, "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them." Just because we sang songs about the Lion dwelling with the lamb, and made t-shirts doesn't change the actual words. It's sort of like how everyone assumes the devil is dressed in red, has horns and a pitchfork. That isn't biblical either.
