This is actually kidnapping. A school cannot hold you against your will. To barricade someone in is kidnapping. I can't believe there are not lawyers lining up.
With all of my lifelong distrust of 'lawyers', i can not believe this is not being Crushed by law firms. There has to be some enraged dads that are lawyers.
Well I haven't really looked closely at this picture before, just saw it and said wtf.
But this picture looks to be from the inside of the gym, with doors opening outwards. So the tables are on the side where the students would be, and not preventing the doors from opening.
Inside or outside, the message is clear. Don’t leave this room.
That much was pretty clear. It's why I was asking whether or not this is bs. Was it a teacher, then, who took the picture? Why is it captioned "us", then?
Yeah I'm unfortunately leaning towards a kid sliding two 5lb tables down the wall to prop in front of unlocked doors to be dramatic for their snapchat story as the most likely explanation.
I think it's quite fortunate people aren't at that lvl of crazy. That being said, I simultaneously find it quite unfortunate how people are that desperate for attention.

There were high schoolers in the room thank goodness. Had this been a kindergarten class, we would all descend upon this school!
