Nebraska is a good place. Let me know if I can answer any questions for you. Omaha has a lot going on for it, but is a tad liberal compared to the rest of the state. I would choose a small bedroom community on the outskirts of Omaha... have access to everything in the city, and then retreat to your rural town. Or, go further west... Lincoln is the capitol and it is a ccollege town (UNL). Or further west... tri-cities... Grand Island, Kearney, and Hastings... of the 3 I would choose Hastings.
