Yeah, the little East Coast cabal all in cahoots. Delaware governor ends indoor mask mandate effective Friday. School mandates end March 31 (making no sense of course). All in line with NJ. Waiting for NY and PA. They were in lock-step the last two years on pandemic response.
Sorta but NJ didn't have the vaxx mandate the same way NYC had. For Healthcare probably, but everything else was basically fine. Teachers had testing option but not forced to vaxx (because there is such a shortage of teachers now)
NJ lifted indoor mask mandates last June, closing in on a year ago. I fully expected Murphy to go much harder but was pleasantly surprised.
The way you write about NJ makes it sound like it’s been fine here.
No.
It has been constant pressure on the unvaxxed—in the education field as well as the health care industry. Not just pressure about weekly testing, submitting religious exemptions, but also so much social pressures. Countless families splitting on this issue.
And Murphy? Give me a break. To say you are pleasantly surprised makes it seem like his reign hasn’t been tyrannical. You do realize what happened with the emergency order, right? It was set to expire and wasn’t voted on by the legislature. So tyrant Murphy literally just signed new executive powers that essentially bypassed the legislative process, similar to how PA and other states changed election laws last minute in 2020.
If we don’t call these tyrants out on their behavior then it will increasingly get worse. Don’t be pleasantly surprised. Be pissed off.
I’m in Nj I haven’t complied once and have been fine. I’ve been going to the gym since July of 2020 not once wearing a mask. Now I’m lucky my job isn’t forcing masks or jabs on me(work in Pa) but still if it wasn’t for this site I wouldn’t know there was any restrictions
I don’t understand your point
