We know he didn't and he knows he didn't, but he still chose to specifically mention our "incredible" generals.

And it depends on what he means by "go through". He could simply mean that he didn't listen to a word of "advice" he received from Milley or that he didn't even include him in the discussion to "advise" him, instead going straight to our, once again, "incredible" generals.
