I increased my donation amount (vs my original donation through GFM).

Another boomerang fail for the libs, as this will now raise more money, and more awareness than the original GFM effort.

Same here, I doubled down and gave $5 to GiveSendGo.

I doubt you will see many Canadian projects on GoFundMe in the future.
