Shooting up is an overstatement though, the "official story" is that one bullet went through the hardrive of their computer ( that some anon supposedly has the hidden passeord-protected files on).Quite convenient, just like the traffic cams being blocked right before this supposedly took place. You can tell how desperate they are by how sloppy their false flags are.
I remember watching on YouTube a video that was an interview with a guy who had hacked into Comet's server and found the CP. He had contacted the DC PD and at first was listened to attentatively, then it was escalated and he got the run-around. Nothing came of it. I wish I had saved that video since it is now long gone. That was in the days when I did not know much about saving YT videos.
I remember, it was a giant, encrypted, password protected directory for members. The guy tried to get it to law enforcement but no one wanted anything to do with it. I didn't see any interview with him, but it was discussed a lot at the time. I have no clue what ever happeened there, nothing I guess :(
