This would suggest controlled opposition. Not fully claiming that, but this is pretty much how it works: direct your opposition towards the controlled target by appearing to attack him more than others. But those attacks are often amplified by the corporate media to create that impression. Notice who just gets quietly censored without a lot of fanfare - those people are less likely to be controlled.
