As Musk has pointed out hydrogen cars are purely a scam. They are thermodynamically infeasible. The problem is, H2 doesn't exist on this planet, it must be manufactured. Doing so requires another energy source, usually fossil fuels or electricity. Since we already have cars that run on fossil fuels and electrcity hydrogen makes ZERO sense. When converting gas or electricity to hydrogen about a third of the energy is wasted. So hydrogen cars will always require 30% more energy and money to operate than gas or electric cars.
Also HINDENBURG! H2 is highly volatile and explosive. Did you know you cannot park a hydrogen car in a garage? If you parked a hydrogen car in your garage, your house would explode when the furnace kicks on. Did they forget to mention that?
Thirdly, if you let a hydrogren car sit for a few days, all of the H2 will evaporate, meaning you will need a hydrogen refueling truck to come and refill the vehicle.
