JMO, but it's very likely that at least a significant amount of the time, the individual in question is NOT on the jet themselves.
Corporate jets are mainly a time-saver and tax write-off; an exec can save hours and hours flying private vs. commercial.
If a corporation like Amazon owns a jet, it's usually used by at least all their C-Level Execs.
Aircraft are expensive to operate per hour & such, but at the same time, it makes zero sense to invest in actually owning your own aircraft and letting it sit idle for weeks / months at a time.
But yeah; prob a lot of the time, it's other corporate executives on the plane.
Oh, I get it. And when the owner is profiting by renting out the jet, the jet is apparently NOT emitting the carbons at issue, so it’s all good. They get to keep their private jets, and we still need to eat grasshoppers. Got it.
The person I know has unrelated people flying on the plane almost all the time. He has very little in the way of "corporate executives." I don't know if his next in charge has ever flown in one of the jets. He doesn't seem the jet type.

Eat the bugs. Live in the pod. Own nothing. Be happy. Complain? Get in the van.....
