This is so condescending and honestly, just pointless. Public servants have so few perks. If a police officer gives a fellow officer a pass for running a stop sign, I call it a perk of the job. I have been pulled over on more than one occasion for speeding and in both situations, I was given a warning. I have no affiliation with law enforcement. So I guess there are some who do this for civilians too. I respect the job they do, I respect that they put their lives on the line for perfect strangers. Being able to flash a badge to get out of a ticket is pretty small potatoes in the grand scheme of things but can go a long way to helping an otherwise tired and worn down cop feel a little refreshed for having the benefit of a tiny perk. I rarely say this to fellow anons, but your comment just sucks.
In case you missed it...
Not married to a cop. And in your example, you discussed traffic violations, not spousal abuse...get a life dude.
WTF...I haven't deleted anything. You're hostile.
