One, I strongly agree with your evaluation on the organized and strategic vs the not organized and not too strategic.
Two, I do think that it is all accumulative. All of these things are like the falling of pebbles and rocks at the top of the mountain. This is how an avalanche happens. It doesn't necessarily start with a massive mountain side all moving at once. No. It is often accumulative. It all builds.
Case in point. in Melbourne, we fought and fought and got beaten up and did protests and demonstrations for 12 months+, getting 3000, or 5000, or 1000, etc. In August last year, we hit the 10,000 mark. It felt amazing.
But another lockdown and then finally when it was lifted, end of October, around 5000 again. In front of Parliament. Following weekend, I was amazed. 20,000 or so. It felt amazing. I went again the next week, thinking it would be smaller, but it hit around 100,000. By November 20, we hit around 300 or 400 thousand. I kid you not.
The Aussie convoy to Canberra is pretty much like the NZ thing, I suspect. But we are Learning on the job. We've never really had to fight like this.
So I recommend, don't despair. NZ and Aus are going to be hit hard, but we'll get through this. Thankfully, Canada showing up is the start of a new gear change, I believe.
