Jesus Christ was more Ted Nugent than Barry Manilow. Don't be afraid to upset some tables.

The whole thing with the money changers was that people would come to make animal sacrifices and have to purchase the “acceptable “ animals and they didn’t have the proper currency so they would have to go use the money changers who are ripping people off that’s pretty much it.
I was simply explaining the scam. That’s the part most people don’t know. Everyone knows Jesus went ape shit. Even atheists know that part…. Idk why u r accusing me of damage control lol
Here’s another thing most Christians don’t know. In the story of the prodigal son, the father runs out to greet him on his return. Why is it important to note he ran, other than he was really happy?
Why did he run? I am thinking but it's not going very far right now.
It’s not why he ran but the significance of a man running in that culture at the time. It was utterly disgraceful for a grown man to be seen running. So it was much more powerful of an act than what we today would think. There are so many cultural considerations in The Bible that people have no idea of, but make The Book even more relevant when they are known.
Mmm, possibly, yet they were misusing God’s house and defiling it.
That is a very interesting notion
From the researching I have done, i have read and been told that the booms like the Macabees, Jasher and The Book of Enoch etc; were historically accurate and during biblical times yet were not chosen to be part of the Bible as they did not claim to be divinely inspired as the books that were included in the Canon
