Jesus Christ was more Ted Nugent than Barry Manilow. Don't be afraid to upset some tables.

Don’t forget Jesus knew whom his enemy is most people Can’t use enough decernment to know who (((it)) is. And a hint it’s not the ave person. It’s the cabal.
Matthew 7:15-20 You Will Know Them by Their Fruits
15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
How people interpret this as a benign parable is beyond me.
Alex Soros! Come out and plaaaaay
Do you speak of the usary, sir?
Usury is why we have the phrase, "Money is the root of all evil."
Gotta correct this. Sorry but it is so frequently misquoted. People leave out that is the love of money that is the root of all kinds of evil. "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." I Timothy 6:10 NKJV
The whole thing with the money changers was that people would come to make animal sacrifices and have to purchase the “acceptable “ animals and they didn’t have the proper currency so they would have to go use the money changers who are ripping people off that’s pretty much it.
☝️This
It was about them buying and selling in God’s house and completely misusing it from its’ intended purpose
I never thought about that.
Dang
Good point
money changers and usurers were the only people Christ physically and violently assaulted.
Based ass-whooping Jesus.
Sort of…
You see, people would come to the temple to make sacrifices but they were only allowed purchase animals that were deemed acceptable. People would come from all over the world and would not always have the proper currency so the money changers could basically name any exchange rate they wanted to because these people had to buy the animals for their sacrifices. It was more of an extortion racket and just plain ripping people off on exchange rates.
The moneychangers of his day used usury to steal people's assets and enslave them. After usury was outlawed their descendants, the current day money changers, learnt how to do it to governments using central banks and enslave the whole humanity. This is the end game that started thousands of years ago.
There is a whole rabbit hole here. I personally believe that the century before 1666 was all about preparing for the return of the beast system. This included Oliver Cromwell, disruption of the English Monarchy, The Tudors, Anne Boleyn, the separation from Catholic Church, Queen Elizabeth, Renaissance, the great fire of London, the creation of the "City of London", Benjamin Disraeli and manipulating Queen Victoria to start the colonisation, French revolution, creation of American.
All these events are a sequence within a carefully thought out multi generational plan, culminating in the Federal Reserve and where we are now.
Jesus always did his Father's will. Always.
And that is the only reason he went and did it. It's says at one point Jesus Christ was angry and sinned not. That means he didn't break fellowship with God and become self willed, he continued to obey.
Being angry at evil is ok. Knowing when amd how to handle it, well do as Jesus did and obey God.
Do you know Jesus crafted the whip? I have never found that in scripture.
As much as one reads the Bible, it is amazing how many things you read right over.
Thank you for the book/chapter/verse. I have been meditating on this quite a bit since you posted.
Every time I read that passage in the Bible, or hear it in Church, I think of the scene from the Godfather where Michael Corleone reacts to someone shooting up his house.
In the movie, Michael screams "IN MY HOUSE?!"
I imagine Jesus saying it too, only a bit different: "IN MY FATHER'S HOUSE?!"
