They were always leftists. It started pre-Viet Nam war but that's when the indoctrination really took off. They were always "for" whatever the Communist issue du jour was. Today it's vaccines, lockdowns, masks, and subservience to the Communist talking points. It doesn't matter if it flip flops 180 degrees. Whatever their Communist masters say, that's what they are for.
