I doubt the mRNA would survive. It is pretty delicate. The only way it gets into our cells from the injection is because it is hidden inside micro globs of fat that protect it. Our cells recognize the fat and accept it in. If the mRNA were floating freely in our body there would be very little of it that would make it to cells before it was destroyed.
I would think that if this technology could be administered in a nasal swab that they would have been openly using it because a swab is much less invasive and it inspires less anxiety than an injection.
