They should be careful. Most people I know in MI even the ones who are pretty reasonable are not happy over the shuttering of ford plant. People have lost money and work over it, this is going to be bad optics if we are not more careful.

To paraphrase a famous congresswoman: Protests are supposed to make you uncomfortable.

The auto plants don't seem to mind other companies suffering every time the UAW decides to strike. I think they can handle a few days.

I work for an IPS in northern Ohio. We supply lighting to Ford. I'm laid off this week, due to Ford being down. I have plenty of projects out in the garage, I'll be alright. And if this starts waking up the Normies, by making them uncomfortable? Well worth it, I'll take the hit to my wallet!
