I am watching the super bowl. I am laughing my ass off at how many black people they are putting in commercals. And I am black!!!
Here is the thing.
I told you guys I am a Software Engineer. I am also a certified digital marketer.
This whole woke shit is how marketing people operate. Anything that is considered to be trendy.
All of them will start to copy each other.
I follow a guy named Russel Brunson.
He is a millionare.
He isn't some big corporate name.
He grew a company by bootstrapping it. Lives in Idaho and a Christian man.
I saw one of his commericals on YouTube today. It was a black guy.
This is how marketing works if you don't know the business. They copy what they think is trendy.
I don't expect the woke stuff to last forever. It will calm down to some degree.
Yes... I do think seeing more black faces is here to remain.
But it won't be pushed like they are doing it now.
Every marketer is seeing what other marketers are doing. So they do what they do.
They are copying campaign scripts.
Check out the website https://funnelscripts.com/
The purpose of this website is to sell marketers templates they can use to sell people via a campaign ad.
When you hear the word political stragetist. That's really nothing but a marketer.
A political stragetist will also use sales scripts and campaign messages that they share amoung each other.
This is why you see so many black faces.
It's marketing people saying.
"Well.. everyone else is doing it. So it must be a trend.. So we will do it to".
Once enough places lose money on the woke campaign messaging because it's over sold.
They will calm it down for sure.
I have similar qualifications and I worked hard to earn them.
Sadly, as a black person, Affirmative Action has made your qualifications a laughingstock. A potted plant can become a Software Engineer and a certified digital marketer, with enough Affirmative Action.
This is why I don't allow my family to be treated by black doctors - because there's no way to know if they lack the skill and intelligence to legitimately earn their qualifications. Without diversity hiring and Affirmative Action in academia, who knows which black doctors would be living under a bridge.
You shouldn't trust anyone if they don't have the results.
In my field.
I don't have to talk to you to tell you I know what I am doing.
That can be proven by showing an app working. That can be proven by showing you the source code if you know how to read it.
Any person can beef up a resume.
When you say Affirmative Action has made your qualifications a laughingstock.
I write code for a living dude.
I can PROVE my work. That's why I like writing code.
It's not a talk based skill. I can prove my skills by showing you code and walking through it.
Every interview I had.
I didn't just talk my way into the job.
Other skilled tech people will make you
Perhaps you did and that's my point: you have no idea how many more intelligent people were refused the same academic opportunities you enjoyed simply because of your skin color... and you have no idea how many more experience and better qualified people were passed over during job interviews because of diversity hire quotas.
Because of Affirmative Action in academia and the workplace, you have no way of knowing if any of your qualifications are legitimate or if you were employed based on your merits rather than your skin color.
Your education and career may be nothing but "pandering to the blacks" and you'll never know because of Affirmative Action and diversity hiring, irrespective of how highly you regard yourself.
Yeah but your mindset is not a healthy one my friend.
When it comes to jobs. No different then dating.
Someone is always going to be on the losing end no matter what.
If I came into a job against white people. And I happen to win.
It's best to let the chips fall as they fall.
Your deep analysis of doom isn't a good one.
I am not going to over think it and say my company hired me because they needed a black face.
As what I know right now. My company doesn't have some type of AA policy.
So I am going to asume they hired me because I could pass their test and sell myself.
If I find out they hired me because of AA.
I will leave.
I pray for you.
Your mindset about this is going to cause more harm then good to your mental state about life.
No need to resort to personal attacks because everything I describe is true.
You have no idea if your company has an AA policy. We both know this.
Because you are black, it's dangerous for me to have an honest discussion about Affirmative Action with you without getting reported... so I'll leave it here and close by pretending you won this debate. Good job. Well done. Another win for you.
If you want to know if someone has skills.
Question 1: What is the job they are interviewing for? Questoin 2: What type of situations do they need to be able to handle?
Once you know those questions.
You can structure an interview in a more simulated manner. That can prove they know what they are doing or not.
