I have not allowed my kids to wear a mask the entire time and we lived in commiefornia. I was such a brat to my daughter one time shopping because she was embarrassed to be the only people in the store not in a mask so she put hers on. I pretended i couldn't understand anything she was saying and refused to talk to her and then told her she was never allowed to shop with me again unless she didn't wear a mask.
The first interaction she had with a youth group during the scamdemic a girl asked her if she could give her a hug and the girl said I'm breaking my family's rules I'm not allowed to touch anyone and my daughter said yep I'm breaking my mom's rules too by wearing this mask !!
Right on you're just like me, fren. I have completely refused to hang out with any of my old friends who were so afraid of covid that they would only hang out if I agreed to wear a mask.
It might seem petty at first but what putting a mask on represents to me is just something I physically cannot bring myself to fake on behalf of another young adult, especially after everything I've learned about the REAL science, the past 2 years.
My family and I were basically the only family in this town to not wear a mask during the plandemic because my wife, who is deaf like me, and I are exempted from wearing one and my child is not at the age where they have to wear one per the state's mask policy but close to it.
My child is hearing but knows sign language and communicates with us. My wife took my child out shopping and my child told my wife what people were saying to her when she's not paying attention, for obvious reasons, and they were like, "Put your mask on please!" and "Why are you and your child not wearing a mask like us!?"
Most of them just walked away when my wife isn't replying to them, but some of them were persistent and stayed there until my wife replied to them. My wife would just say, "I'm sorry but I'm deaf so you have to lower your mask so I can understand you" (not in that exact sentence, but more of a gesture like, "I'm Deaf, I can't see your lips, you take mask off I can see your lips") and that usually pisses them off and they go walking all angry, probably feeling like a fool thinking my wife was ignoring them on purpose, when it was just someone being deaf and had a valid reason for not wearing a mask.
It was funny watching them squirm away, probably muttering to themselves under their mask.
My father and sister are certified interpreters so i grew up in the deaf community. I just pretended to be deaf with my daughter if anyone said anything to make her feel better and you could see they would feel like douchebags . But when i was by myself i would just let them have it
Lol yeah I wouldn't even care if you pretended to be deaf (a la "cultural appropriation") cuz I'd prefer for people to not wear a mask so if they had to feign a disability like deafness to get out, I'm fine with that.
But in the deaf community, that would be frown upon because they don't like being "mocked" but sometimes they don't understand what's going on. Most of them are brainwashed into thinking the Demoncrats are actually helping them.
One of the things they dislike in the deaf community is Cochlear Implants and I love bringing this tidbit up every time someone say Hillary Clinton is a great person/woman and I'd tell them that the Clinton Foundation is a strong advocate for Cochlear Implants. They would say that's BS and change subjects.
But yeah if you have to pretend to be deaf in order to make yourself and your daughter exempt from wearing a mask, by all means, do it. We need to take that stupid policy down any way we can!
Haha thanks. People need to stop getting offended so easily. I know enough sign language that even if i encountered a deaf person i could hold a conversation.. so hopefully it's less offensive since im actually signing and not making crap up! I love how easy going you are. I wish more people were like that.

She thought I was crazy then but she's a lion now
