I'm curious why they said "Wednesday" specifically was when Russia was going to invade Ukraine.

Because we're dumb enough to believe that Russia would broadcast their attack plans in advance.

If I were Russia, and planned to invade Ukraine, I would let it leak that we plan to invade on Wednesday... and then do it on Tuesday instead.
