Born and raised in the rural Piedmont myself and married into TN lol. I miss it, but state income taxes and recent state government actions make me glad to be here. If only I could find a Biscuitville and some Lexington BBQ all would be well in this world.
We probably were not far from each other. I’m an hour east of Raleigh.
I’ve been to Western Tennessee a few times as a child & years ago coming back from concerts in Mississippi we came back through TN. I’d love to spend more time there.
Oh, if I had the money & could talk my hubby into leaving I’d be gone in a hot minute!
I’ve always wanted to move further south.
If you are ever in Eastern NC near I95 stop at Parker’s Barbecue in Wilson NC. I’ve been eating there 55 years.
Barbecue is so different as you travel. We have vinegar based.
We had a biscuitville & it couldn’t compete with BoJangles just down the road.
My grandma made biscuits every day of the week. I was spoiled and haven’t found any to compare to her’s.
Dang I didn’t catch half of your comment 🤦🏻♀️ I’m in NC, born & raised.
