Watergate was a 3rd rate burglary by a handful of hired goons.

But this caper was a massive operation by the DOJ, FBI, FISA Court, Congressmen, and multiple other three letter government agencies to overthrow a sitting U.S. President.

Comparing the two is comparing a flea to an elephant.
