What she's saying is completely true though.
pence, graham, mconnell all say things that are true sometimes too.
what if i told you....gasp...that politicians say things because they think will get them elected?

well i hoped it might facilitate some critical thinking about who funds candidates, why they say the things they say and what ulterior motives they may have.
I feel like that's a separate issue though. One can say true and empowering things, yet still have negative intentions. I don't think it takes away from the validity of what they're saying though. One must just be aware of WHY it is they are saying them.
