I have never liked the term "homeland security". It sounds so Nazi-ish, like Heimatland (homeland). Why do we need this term? How about American instead of homeland. American security. Everyone knows what that means. Homeland is not specific and prone to nazification. Now we see the "Department of Homeland Security coming out with Nazi info and scare tactics. Trying to control our speech. I don't like it, and I don't like dHs. Should be dAs. Better.

I thought the same about the term first time I heard it especially with the DHS creation and every time since. It is a Nazi term.
