humbly disagree. spouse and I both raised among the impoverished. choices are more obvious in that system.
I grew up poor too.
You know as well as I that some cannot see past their programming. The poor have been the victims of government traps and experiments for decades.
The Mouse Utopia Experiment made it clear to the social planners what would happen.

no hard feelings here either. fortunately, we still have the right to convey our thoughts somewhat openly in certain forums.
Christian doctrine is based on choice. Psychology (my area) is split down the middle on nature v nurture, when to hold accountable and when not to.
