This popped up showing a severe storm in Antarctica with wind speeds of 600 knots.

Shit lol. Had a look fastest ever recorded was 240 ish mph, i dare say its a sensor reporting issue

Yeah very likely a sensor malfunction since uh... that speed would literally obliterate the sensor...

I vote sensor malfunction too. There appear to be some high winds going on in Russia, per this site, at 190+ mph.
